<  WinPCSIGN Software  ~  How can I get graphtec ce5000-60 to work?

got the software yesterday
the install disc had a few scratches marks on it
also my cutter will not work with it
graphtec ce5000-60 usb
i tried most things
reinstalled winpcsign done the update with remove option
downlopaded new driver for my cutter
tried generic hpgl and hpgl also ce3000
i get error code on plotter hpgl error code 1
hope you can help

Your cutter must be set on GPGL. (you can find it on the cutter manual)
Install Graphtec driver from the cd-rom , then from WinPCSIGN/ Plotter code select USB and driver usb . Very important that the cutter must also set 0.025 of scale

You dont need any update .

its cutting but only a few letters then loads of long lines

and the panel on cutter says off scale

did you mean 0.025mm steps

do you meen metric or imperial measurement

0.025 inch or mm

i already set this to 0.025 mm on my cutter

this is still cutting the same only a few letters and approx 100mm of lines loads of them

ive never had any problems with this cutter like this with any other software

and i have used a few

im not happy at all not sure winpcsign is compatible with a graphtec ce5000-60 im thinking of sending this software back

we have 1 Graphtec CE500-40 in stock , so we know this cutter is comptaible with WinPCSIGN.

This cutter must be set GP GL

i dont understand the only

step setting i can find is step pass and i can only change the values

of between 0 to 20

if i try cut cut say 1 name ie colin rawson say 30mm x 200mm its fine

but if i cut say 20 names say 10mm 100mm it cant cut just loads of lines

im sorry but ive been trying this software for hours

i think im going to send it back
to you for a refund

we never mentioned Step Pass ? we told you the STEP SIZE , this option is related to the scale.

I repeat you, we have CE5000-40 and CE7000-60 here and WinPCSIGN work very well with.

The Graphtec manual instruction say, that you need to change this value depending the software that you use .

i just got it working

it was down to the install disc being scratched i think

i did a reinstall 3rd time after cleaning the disc

also a didnt run the update

can you send me a replacement disc please

it was damaged as in the case it came loose on delivery and got marked

the logo and font discs have a bit of foam to keep them in place
