I need help. I'm about to throw everything out the window as I'm so frustrated and have been this way for a week now.
I have WinSign 2009. I run Windows Vista. I have a Vinyl Express Q60.
I've installed the software. I had to get the adapter serial cable to connect my cutter to my laptop with a USB. I installed the driver for the USB as well. I checked the plotter/cutter codes through WinSign and through my Device Manager it said it was installed in ComPort 3. So, I set the cutter to that. If I try to set it to a USB, I don't get anything in the next window to select. UGH!
Problem: when I try to cut, I GET NO RESPONSE AT ALL! I just get an hour glass that turns and turns.
I'm going CRAZY here.
Can anyone please advise. And yes, I've watched the movies about installing several times.
HELP ME!

I recommend to change your com 3 to com1. It is possible that your com 3 is already in use by the computer modem
