| I bought the 12" plotter and software from Signmax and it worked great on XP. Changed to a new puter with Vista and then had to upgrade the software, no big deal. Now I bought the serial to USB adapter and downloaded the software. NONE of the plotter drivers work on Vista that worked on XP. What plotter/cutter driver should I use? I have spent days trying every different configuration that I can think of. HELP?!?!?!? |

Good luck getting drivers out of these guys.
You`ll need VISTA drivers or it won`t work...
OR go back to Windows XP.

| I am not looking for a download. Which plotter am I supposed to use from the list and what com port? I can't get the thing to sync up with the puter...c |

What program came with your plotter? if it`s winsign basic it should
load your drivers for the plotter.
What brand is your plotter?
If you loaded the drivers correctly for usb cable....use usb port in the set up(panel) of your plotter software.

| I bought the SM-12 along with the Vista Pro version of the software. Installed the serial to usb cable driver and still can't get it to work. There is no SM-12 in the list of plotter/cutters to choose from. Which one will drive my SM-12? Trying to narrow the possiblities one at at time. thanks...clint |
