have just set up my sm30. Software installed, dongle in.
I have turned on the plotter for the first time and it just makes a loud noise, and the cutter does not move. Is there some kind of release for the cutter? The cutter is all the way right. The noise sounds like a grinding.

That happens when the cutter is removes from the box by the head
