| Hi - I am new to signmaking and hav a problem with doing small letters smaller than 1 cm in height. I find they do not cut out exactly and leave a small piec un cut. The centres especially are bad. When doing big letters the centres also are a bit of a problem to weed out as the cutter leaves a small piece un cut. My cutter is the froggy and my off set i have tried from 6 to 20 without any luck. I have also changed blades. can anyone help with any other setups to stop this? |

did you check Knife offset ?
From Cutting Control panel select Options and change value from 10 to 14 . You can select Start point orientation function . |

Hi Ivan - thanks for the reply - I have tried all sorts and last night my top roller bar was causing the vinyl to bunch up so I stripped it downa nd found the roller was really dry and no grease or oil on one side - so I cleaned and greased it up and now the cutter looks like it's cutting well. I did a quick test and seems good.
What do I lubricate the main cutter slide bar with? Regards Gavin |
