I am working with WinPCSign Pro 2007 and am trying to cut a decal from a black & white jpg image.
In the vectorization menu, I have the option for Bezier, Advanced Corner and Advanced Curves. Every option takes the sharp angles of the image and rounds them off. If the image contains Block Text, it all comes out rounded.
How do I cut a decal that is identical to the original image?

| I am so far from an expert but I have tried everything. I don't think you can get a better first result because of the quality of your jpeg, but I have no idea really. Would love to hear from a pro on this.. |

| On the images shown above, the one on the left is the original "camera ready" jpeg. The one on the right is after vectorizing the image. |

| All I do is when this happends I make the changes bit by bit. ie using the construction points to make a round line a straight line.. time consuming, hope there's a better way lol |

The best way to deal with your image is to use Interpolation on either on a setting of 3 or up. Then turn the image into black and white, this is very important even though your original image is black and white, by turning the image into black and white through the software it will make it sharper and easier for the software to vector. One that has been done just vector and you will get a much better vector. I did take the screen capture you attached and using the steps above I got a great result.

If it was me I would replace the fonts with something close and redraw the
& sign and everything else, doesn`t look that hard.

I copy and paste your image to WinPCSIGN, then I enlarged it using interpolation feature and vectorized. Here is the result .
I think the result will be better if I use your camera ready" jpeg original.
