Is there a way to see where the image is going to be positioned on the material? In other words; how do I know or place the image in a specific location on the material which is on the cutter? i.e. position it on the rignt as you face the cutter. THank you for your help. |

You can set the head of the plotter anywere on the vinyl. This is 0 (zero X, Y posItion). So the document will cut on the same X & Y position that you saved on the works screen. (page) Enter the real value of your material ( Vinyl ) in WinPCSIGN, Page on Setting Menu. ( Ex 24 by 60 inches) |

First turn cutter "offline" by hitting "online" button.
Then use the arrows "up, down", etc. to position the print head on the cutter. Then turn cutter back "online" by hitting the "online" button.
It does matter on the screen whether or not you are in the correct frame and that is a decision you have to make in the Cutting Panel.
I usually try to start at the bottom left corner of the document on screen and then position my print head on the vinyl where I have space to cut. |
