hi, i have been using winpcsign letter 2005 for the past 2 years. since day one i have always had a little bit of material that remains uncut on each piece i cut. i have to go over it with an exacto knife to complete it. its always in the spot where the cut started for that object. it seems the plotter just does not completely finish each cut. the uncut portion is less than 1mm wide, sometimes just a hairs width. plotter is the CT635 and the test cuts run on the machine do not exhibit this problem. fresh 45 degree blade carbide tip. does this on calendered and cast vinyl consistently.
cutting control panel settings:
Advance is checked
cutting & engraving options settings:
Weed Value 0.15
Curve Resolution 5
Knife Offset 12
Start Point Orientation Checked

Try knife offset 15-20, if result will the same, try 0 Knife Offset.
If no changes - update your programme. |
