AUTOMATIC MIST SYSTEM

The SMX Mist System provides a cost-effective solution for cutting nonferrous metals. When used in non-ferrous cutting applications, the Mist System dispenses small amounts of Micro-Drop synthetic or vegetable-based lubricant to cool and lubricate the cutting tool.

SMX TANGENTIAL KNIFE

Made by SignMAX the SMX tangential knife is designed for cutting heavier, thicker and harder materials. It comes with a gliding shoe that is used to hold down the material when cutting and can be adjusted depending on the holding force required. Comes standard with an air permeable cutting mat that is placed on the tabletop of your CNC machine when using the knife. Air permeability allows the mat to be used while using a vacuum system.

OSCILLATING KNIFE

An Oscillating tangential knife is designed to provide high accuracy cutting of soft and semi rigid materials including but not limited to Graphic Foam boards, Closed Cell Foam, Plastic-covered Foam, Corrugated Cardboard, Plastic, Gasket Materials, Rubber, Cork, Carpet, Felt, Vinyl and more. 45° DEGREES V-GROOVE KNIFE

The SMX 45° Knife Cartridge has been specifically designed to be used with SMX CNC. This tools is use for cutting v-grooves in foam materials.

MUTLI-TOOLS SYSTEM (MTS)
MANUAL OR AUTOMATIC

The SMX multi tools system allows you to have up to two sided routers spindles heads. Each side router heads is manually or automatically raised/lowered. Started via on/off via G-Code commands. This feature allows you to add multiple cutting heads for mass production or simply add a 2nd cutting head for simple 2 tool operations.

BECKER PUMP BLOWER

Becker blowers are good for cutting large parts on a CNC machine. Becker Blowers tend to be better if the vacuum system needs a lot of air capacity, for example, when using porous materials.

SANDING HEAD

SMX Sanding Head is a great option to sand flat panel table, cabinet and furniture parts. This option greatly reduce the enormous amount of time needed for manual sanding operations, any sanding task will be completed in record time if performed on the CNC.

VISION REGISTRATION SYSTEM (VRS)

The SMX CutVision is a digital visual registration system that utilizes both software and a digital camera to automatically find and recognize conventional registration marks and adjust the machine’s cutting path as necessary to achieve exact cutting alignment with printed shapes. CutVision allows virtually any printed material to be accurately and precisely cut including card, vinyl, rubber, foam, wood, acrylic and many more.

AUTOMATED ROLLER HOLD DOWN

SMX Roller Hold Down Technology allows for machining part nests with smaller parts when vacuum flow-through is not enough. The Quad-Roller system provides enough downward force during cutting cycles to even allow processing of stacked sheets.

COUNTER BALANCE

The role of a Z-Axis Counterbalance is to equalize the forces in both up and down directions on the Z-Axis. This helps increase the performance of your machine’s Z-Axis and also increases the longevity of your Z-Axis motor which sees all of the up and down movement while cutting.

POPUP ALIGNEMENT PINS

Pop up alignment pins are the most reliable method of ensuring quick and sheet positioning. Your machine is configured with three pneumatically controlled pins. If you are processing sheets, we have the industry’s best Dust collection solution to date – the SMX Dust Dock! This system lowers the surface area you need to cover with dust collection focusing the air flow to the cutter directly to remove nearly 100% of the airborne dust and significantly increase dust control in your shop. ROTARY LATHE

The 360 degrees Lathe is used for full 3D carving. The work material can be rotated, mounted on the machine and comes with a head stock, tail stock, rails, and motor/drive system. The tail stock is a removable, live center point. Indexing means that 360 degrees.

MATERIAL CALIBRATION TOUCH PAD

The MTC (Material Thiscknes Calibration) Touch Pad is a fast way to make frequent tool changes within a program. It comes with a “micro touch plate” mounted to the side of the table that measures the length of the new cutting tool and gives that information to the operating software making tool changes a “touch and go” operation.

SAFETY MATS

Safety mats are fitted around the machine to provide a safe area for operators. The safety mat can be setup so that if someone or some object is on the mat, the machine will not start. Also, when the machine is operating or cycling, the machine will stop if someone steps on the mat.

LIGHT CURTAINS

Light curtains protect personnel from harm and machinery from damage by utilizing an array of photoelectric beams to sense intrusion into a protected area. It will automatically stop the CNC when an person came in contact with the light curtain.

BECKER VACUUM PUMP

The Becker Rotary Vane pump is capable of creating a large amount of vacuum pressure (23 In Hg). Same as with the claw pump, a lower horsepower (8 to 10 HP) vane pump will generally outperform high horsepower regen blower systems for part holddown. The Becker pump operates on 3 Phase 220/460V Power
